Reed in the service department introduced me to John while our current vehicle was in for service. Not long after we decided to look for something new. On our first appointment, we were most interested in leasing a new vehicle. John arranged for us to drive several new models. A few hours later we had run the full circle from leasing new to buying a pre-owned vehicle. John was extremely patient and helpful. When we returned the next day, John had done his homework and selected vehicles for us to drive which met our basic needs. At the end of that visit we were confident he/we found the right pre-owned car. We closed the deal with a great feeling about the whole experience. This dealership is the real deal from sales to service.

The buying experience at Auto Star Nissian of Boone is top notch. The vehicle had a few minor repair issues that were found during the test drive and the dealership addressed them promptly and to my satisfaction. They actually over charged me for the vehicles tags but sent a refund check a few weeks later. How many dealerships would do that? They could have kept that money and I would have never known the difference. That is honest dealing I appreciate and respect! I would recommend looking at the Boone and surrounding areas for purchasing a Jeep Wrangler in particular and I would definitely recommend you shop Auto Star's prices and service before pulling the trigger anywhere else. They treated my family fairly and I expect they will do the same for you! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING JOHN!

We recently purchased a new 2019 AWD Altima from Autostar and I felt I was treated fairly and with respect. The sales rep also spent a great deal of time showing me the features of the car. I started looking online for a new vehicle. I have a Service Dog named Rocky who is a Golden Retriever. He developed an aversion to load up in my existing car, so it was time to seek an alternative. He didn't like the two bucket seats in the second row of my Mazda 6, so I needed a bench seat. I was contacted by Tara Lloyd from my inquiry on the internet. She was so helpful in connecting me with the sales staff. She stayed in contact with me throughout my buying experience. I then met Joe, Kevin, and John. I explained my dilemma and they went into action to find me a used car with a bench seat in the back. John Wellborn worked several days getting a car transferred to this dealership that he thought might work. John and Tara kept in contact with me while we were waiting for the transfer. Once the car arrived, I came in with two of my granddaughters. John and Joe always made sure that I had a cup of coffee while I was there. (and I do love coffee!) Then I met Curt. He helped me test drive the transferred car. Unfortunately, that vehicle wasn't right for me. Then Curt started searching their inventory. They were very patient with my likes and dislikes. Then Curt and the staff found a used Nissan Rogue that had just come in that morning. I loved it! My grandkids loved it too! Then Jeff helped me to complete all the paperwork answering any questions I had. Curt and John were transferring items from my trade in car to the Nissan Rogue. They helped me in every way. Now Rocky had a bench seat and he jumped right in when we went to church the next day. Now I could have my service dog with me wherever I go. Thank you for making Rocky's bench seat happen!

John was exactly the type of sales representative i was hoping to deal with. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle i was interested in and he did what a lot of dealers have forgotten how to do, which is listen to the customer instead of trying to push their own personal agenda. I found the process of buying a new car less stressful than any other experience I’ve had in the past from other dealerships. I started looking back in Fal of last year but the timing wasn’t right. There was no pressure then and when I came back ready to buy it was a smooth transition. John Welborn was great and very accommodating, So much so that when I came in at the end of my work to finalize the deal, John provided snack crackers to help tide me over until I could get home. Not saying that he would give crackers to everyone but it just shows the thoughtfulness of the staff. Thank you!

We were searching for a used car for our soon to be 16 year old. AutoStar had a Honda Civic. We drove from Blountville, TN to Boone, NC to look at the car. John Welborn was the salesman we worked with. Even though this was a Nissan dealership, John had a thorough knowledge of the Honda Civic. John was NOT pushy at all. He was very patient. When we test drove the car we stopped several times, so each of us had a turn to drive and sit in a different passenger seat.

Went to trade in my old car. These guys were great. They bent over backwards for me. John Welborn was my sales guy He skipped lunch and worked with me and my family for a long time to get us in a new safe and dependable car. Jeff Jones worked and worked with the finance to get us approved and a rate and payment we can do. General Manager Joe worked with us and even worked with nissan corp to get us the rate we wanted and approved us for the rate and payment . These guys went above and beyond what car dealerships do. Will i go back again. yes will i recommend them. yes The only down side to the entire experience was the time spent there. Nina might be new to the field, but she has taken to helping customers into new cars like ducks to water. She was so helpful in making the best deal possible while buying a new car. She even went the extra step of programming my wife and my phone into the car and loading the Nissan app into my phone so i can remotely start my car, find it, and the other features the car has to offer. She explained the features of the car and is very patient with us old timers. I would look her up if you are interested in buying a new car. She will do you right. She made the buying experience pleasant and when was the last time you heard that when buying a car Jeff, the Sales manager worked with us to get a greatt interest rate, and wheeled and dealed to help us into a new car from this dealership. He made the paperwork a breeze. He also made the experience friendly. Chris Jordan also worked on the team to put us in the new Pathfinder and was very helpful to my wife in getting the accessories we needed added on. A very nice guy to work with.
I knew I had bad credit I desperately needed a vehicle. I stopped by to look at some used cars and was greeted by Forrest Barker. Forrest was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about all the vehicles I looked at. After looks at several cars we went inside and I was immediately greeted by manager Jeff Jones. I explained my credit situation to Jeff and we worked very hard to get me approved on a car. Even though my credit was very bad, Jeff and Forrest treated me with the upmost respect and Jeff took the time to go over my credit file with me and share tips to help me change my situation. Even though I was not able to purchase a car at this time I will definitely go back to see Jeff and Forrest when I get my situation taken care of! I really hate to shop for a car but Madison was very nice.She did not push us but showed us the cars we were interested in.We test drove two and decided on the one we wanted.Jeff Jones then got all the paper for us and made it a nice experience.
From the start, sales person (Forrest) greeted us immediately. I expressed our wants and he took us to the vehicle mentioned. He also offered two additional same year vehicles for our comparison. He addressed all of our questions in a very honest manner. He was able to explain each and every option that the vehicles were equipped with. He demonstraited a low pressure and friendly manner at every step of the process. Most enjoyable and pleasant.
It took almost no time to initially reach a trade-in agreement with Forrest Barker and Kevin Sarro for a new Frontier Pro-4X. Even though I had signed the agreement, I came in the next morning asking for a major change -- a straight purchase with no trade-in. Although I suspect they already had a possible buyer in mind for the trade-in, nobody batted an eye and the new deal was done within a few minutes and quickly finalized by Jeff Jones. And although Ted Nolen works in Service, not Sales, thanks to Ted for his valuable advice. I think I'll try to hire him as a part-time financial advisor the next time I'm thinking of spending some major money.

When you go into a dealership you never know what you're going to encounter. Considering that, my experience was beyond imaginable. Lindsey is an amazing sales woman and when asked specifics on vehicles she really know what she is talking about. I came in looking for a used Subaru wrx or sti, and she was able to point me in the right direction to a all new awd Altima. Valentines Day....As a repeat customer, I've purchased two vehicles until today. was just browsing and met a sales rep named Lindsey Gantt. She was great! She ask me if I wanted to purchase a vehicle. I told her that I had already purchased a truck and a Rogue car. She said okay, but did I need another car. I told her "let's see what you got."She was extremely professional, answered all my questions, and showed me a selection of new cars. That led me to decide to purchase a new vehicle, which I did. I want to also commend Jeff Jones (sales manager) for assisting me to finance the vehicle. Two other people I want to recognize in the service department are Ted and Reed. Reed drove my new car to my home because I had my truck at the dealership. GREAT SERVICE! Also, I met Joe Sarro, the GM. He was extremely polite. When to visit dealership with teenage daughter and was very impressed with everyone at the dealership. It was a spur of the moment stop and we had our puppy as well. Everyone made us feel welcome (even the dog!) Nina was wonderful to work with in looking at used cars. I usually do not like shopping at car dealerships but this was a completely different experience. Nina was fun, knowledgeable, and understanding with my lack of car knowledge. My teen loved her as well! A wonderful experience!!

I was told about AutoStar by a coworker who bought a pathfinder there not long ago. She told me I had to work with Lindsey Gantt to get the best deal and experience. I was a little skeptical but after going in and talking to her I was quickly put to ease and it made the car buying process so much better. The process took a while but Lindsey sat with me and made sure I understood every step of the process and helping me know I got a good deal. The car I got has every feature I told her I wanted and then some. And she was so good about teaching me everything about the car before I left: It was so thoughtful of her to call me and make sure I was happy with my new SUV. I would recommend her highly to any man or woman looking for a new car. I would say she’s the best in Boone.
I see all these great reviews and thought this was the place for me. I have had credit issues due to marriage and new job, you know LIFE happens. These guys advertise they can help just about everyone. I go online and do the application. Get calls from them and hear all these promises. Heard how I couldn’t do the bogo deal but they could for sure get me the other car. I made it clear had no down. Said my several times what I could afford monthly. Told my situation. I got told no problem. Deal was done!! Then heard Lie1) I had to take the only car available- Sentra 2018 all the bell and whistles on it! Incentives and other fancy sales words for! You are getting the screws out to you. My payment was $400 a month for a car I didn’t like it want. I was willing to take it for less money a month and wanted the gap off, the extended warranty off and all that costly mess off. Now suddenly the bank wanted money $ down which isn’t now that is done! I am a seasoned car sales person and you cannot force anyone to take that stuff or turn down a loan if they don’t!! Lies and more lies. I asked them not to pull my credit a bunch of times because it is fragile as it was!! To date- my credit was pulled and sent to so many banks I can now not get a car anywhere except them on whatever terms they stick me with. That is how awesome they are!! I can either take a Sentra now with $1000 down and $400 monthly or a Verse sv same down and $300 monthly neither are cars that fit what I asked for it want. All are what they are pushing. Nice looking out for a mom and her kids Nissan. I didn’t go to programs cars just normal Nissan. I think it is a crime to change an application information to get the loan but to ruin someone so badly they can’t even get a loan anymore at all?!!!! Wow then avoid them completely. Congratulations to you all who got cars glad you did. I will be reporting these guys to the DMV for the behavior I have seen. While I walk to work. Update After this review was seen I got a text from the salesperson to snidely thank me for the review. Like my not being able to drive now or obtain a car at any dealer, or that my being upset that my credit had now plummeted because of their lazy and dishonest is somehow my fault. Well let me once more say to each of you who claimed to me several times that I could trust you, that I was in good hands and then refused my calls after taking my credit and personal information and knowing my great need. ‘Thank you for making this already desperate and hard time in my life even more difficult, you may be there to make money but try doing it with some degree of concern for what you are leaving behind in cases like mine.’ Harassing me over the review proves my point l, can’t contact me for a car deal but will to harass me. We purchased a beautiful, clean used 2015 vehicle. Our salesman Daquan was a polite, enthusiastic young man that listened as I spoke about our desire for our future car. I did not feel pressured rather encouraged to try cars that might be a possible fit for me. He even offered to set up my Bluetooth. Something no one's offered me before. The manager was quick to find us financing and within an hour we were driving home in a great car. I usually feel consumer assaulted after leaving a dealership but this was a very good experience.
